The Timmins and Area Drug Strategy (TADS) is askin The Timmins and Area Drug Strategy (TADS) is asking community members to complete a survey that is part of a research project by Northern Ontario School of Medicine. Overdose prevention sites are also known as safe consumption sites, consumption treatment services (CTS) or supervised injection sites. The results of this project will be used to help inform planning and application for a provincially funded CTS in our area.

People who are 16 years of age and older who live, work or study in Timmins can complete an anonymous online survey: https://bit.ly/3rPLf6K.

It’s important to note that this survey is not about the temporary Urgent Public Health Needs Site – Safe Health Site Timmins. This survey marks the beginning of the engagement process as we work to develop a CTS in our community. The Safe Health Site Timmins is being implemented as a temporary measure to address an immediate and urgent need in our community and is set to open soon.
